June 6 - Rock Show

What fun this was. Small community atmosphere and yet it rocked! One of the fun things they did is to have a silent auction for 15 minutes every 20-25 minutes. I got a few rocks that way and they were all $1 or under. One of the things I got was a fossilized sponge. Think someone was caught off-guard when I got that so cheap. He was surprised and said I made an excellent purchase/find. It is rather interesting looking. Maybe tomorrow I'll take a photo of it. They had a good turnout for this annual two-day event.
